Found my first actives !- Gymnopilus Luteus

Went out into the forest looking for Psilocybe Caerulipes since they're in season and after 2 hours of no luck finding any I decided to head back to my car. At about 200ft from my car I had a feeling to look just another 5 minutes, so I did and lo and behold I found a cluster of some psilocybin containing Gymnopilus luteus! ID'ed by some good people at the shroomery. Didn't bring any back but it's real nice to know there's some magic in these woods.

I saved the map location on my phone..you best bet i'll be going back there come next rain luckily it's off trail- so i have my own personal patch that is if the animals don't get to em first lol

I've seen those before...I live in NE US...I've eaten wild mushrooms before...but I was 17 and in Florida pickin em outta cow patties...ha...I'd be real leery of consuming anything I found nowadays with my luck it'd be a lookalike n I'd start haven seizures or suffocating instead of tripping...

Nice, yeah they're pretty common around here you just have to know where to look.. we're in the same area..hahah hell yeah I hear you man, i'm the same way... especially if you grow your own, there's no point in the risk. I just do it to get out in nature and for the 'hunt' ...very fun thing to do especially after smoking a J

oh yeah it's definitely mushroom season up here! Just starting to see Amanita Muscaria pop up..not that I would consume them..they just look awesome
