listen to me closely. buy yourself some AVID its insect killer for a specific type of monster called a SPIDERMITE they live on plants and are almost too small to see with the nekkid eye! (haha i said nekkid) seriously though, buy yourself some avid. and you might as well get yourself a few lights as now youre trying to mimick the sunlight shes been getting
Hmm i don't remember him saying anything about spider mites.. i think his main priority is some kinda lighting, and maybe somewere to grow it in. Dont waste time money and effort on stuff to sort a problem out that don't exist yet, get your lights sorted and you your girl should bloom
good luck

Yea, I've kinda worried leaving the light on unattended. But obviously I have been. How safe are the cfls? Is there any difference in safety?

If I were you I would just leave it in the window and let nature do what it was doing.

Yea. Id like to do that but that is the only window i can leave it in and it wouldn't get nearly enough light. I would say between only 6 and maayybe 9hrs. I'm not positive because I work a lot and I'm not usually here to keep and eye on that.

Trust me, my plant spent 3-4 weeks on the kitchen windowsill, and seeing as it was doing well i bought some cfl's and an ocilating fan and turned the cupboard under my stairs into a grow room and it grew alot better and still is. You wanna get some cfl's and an oscilating fan on her to thicken the stem up

Hmm. Alright. Well just since I've brought it inside its perked up and looks a lot better. I havent even got the right lights on her yet either, so I cant wait to see how she is doing after I hook them up. And i'll have to look more into this fan. I've never heard of it. I gotta try to keep my money spending low though. I'm kinda tight on cash at the moment.

Yeah you can use any old fan really i mean as long as it doesnt get extremely hot or blows to hard on the poor thing but them 2 prob wont be to much of a problem.and yeah just get the socket to put more bulbs in 1 socket cause no one wants to worry about electrical problems.as with worrying about the lights when your gone dont worry about it. they dont produce enough heat as long as they wont fall down on the plant while still turned on ya know. people leave much bigger lights for a longer period of time.lol
