Found a couple gems in some seeds..

Got some of DNA/RP genetics old stock and testers from a rep last summer... Was hesitant on popping a couple of the strains due to count and wanting to run OGR stuff, and man am I upset I waited...

just trimmed up the ECSD and the Sleestack I received in those packs... and they might be the most flavorful buds I have ever had the pleasure of touching... And that's why you always keep clones (learned the hard way on a hashy mom last summer), two keeper strains no doubt

My scissors are clogging up after each gram trimmed of sleestack so I'm gonna call it a night on the trimming (After only 10 g's lol).. Gonna give a quick run down of the funks I'm smelling though.

the ECSD has the legendary funk of the sour diesel... the lemon and fuel is all that needs to be said... The plant seems to be single cola dominant and stretched 2-3X it's size once thrown into flower. Foxtailing occurs near harvest-time... More seeds of this and even possibly a more bulky pheno with the same fuel taste to be had? Might be worth a look.

The sleestack is renown overseas, and I'm starting to find out why. They said it won a hash making award, and I can attest it is literally as close to untrimmable as it can get.. With every scissor stroke comes a sour apple funk that I have never experienced in a plant before. I'm trimming it dry... but it still needs another day for a sampler nug... too excited to explain.

I have a couple of their Hashplant Haze seeds and they're probably the ones I'm least excited about. Haven't heard anything good about it and the stock photo looks atrocious. Possibly one of the worst stock photos I've ever seen lol and the grow log pics I've seen look the same. Shriveled up, yellowed up bud leaves. Can't find it on DNA's site so looks like they axed it from their lineup. Who knows though, maybe it will surprise me. Sleestack seems to be one of their hits.

Lol I'll try and get some pics here, I just hate posting pics that don't do the bud justice and I am a terrible photographer.

I was fortunate enough to try a tester of the ECSD, Sleestack, and Re-Con, and 1337 definitely knows what he is doing. Hands down some of the best herb that I've had that was grown in Arizona. All organic, no pesticides.

I need to leave a proper review later, but the Sleestack was incredible. Even though it was a heavy indica, it still hit me with that cerebral high right to the dome. Was extremely pleasant and sweet tasting. At first I got a black licorice smell from it, but once I tore into the nug, I got the sweet and sour apple smell, and in my 16 years of medicating, it is nothing like I've ever smelled before!

Thanks again - it blew everything I've seen at the clubs these days out of the water!

I just picked-up my taster kit. A+ guy, seems to be in it for the all the right reasons.

I won't be able to medicate with it until later, but it looks great and all three have a unique aroma. The buds are tight and very well trimmed. Packaging and presentation, very professional.

Tonight can't get here soon enough!

Tester Kit Review:
First of I would like to thank the individuals who took part in growing this medicine, it was top notch..

ECSD:
Bag Appeal:
Had a slightly darker green color, with orangish pink hairs.
Aroma:
I have been searching for a true ECSD and the smell of this bud unmistakably resembles the distinct fuely characteristics of the SD.
Taste:
Long lingering taste 15 seconds, almost identical to the aroma as well. (I was told it was organic and I believe it.)
Potency:
A very nice SAT IND combo, hits my head in the right place followed by a nice muscle relaxing experience.

Sleestack:
I have only had this strain a handful of times and it was always outside of the US... NL
Bag Appeal:
Does it get any denser than this?
Aroma:
I received almost a strong sour caramel apple scent.
Taste:
The first hit I took was fairly large, I mainly got a pleasant Hash taste.
Second round I went for something a little less serious, the sour apple flavor really comes out in smaller amounts.
Potency:
Definitely the strongest of the samples.

Recon:
Bag Appeal:
Very Nice bag appeal, dense w/ some lavender colors here and there.
Aroma:
Smells like a mixture of tomato sauce and wine.
Taste:
Intially I get a sweet wine taste followed by intense kush flavor. The smoke smells extremely kushy, beware of vultures..
Potency:
Strong indica and really gave me an appetite

I will post this review to the requested site as well.
To summarize:
True Compassion, real fucking grow knowledge and hard to find quality.

This review of 1337's strains is long overdue, and nowhere near as good as Chronicseeker's. But I definitely wanted to add my two pennies...

Anyways, 1337 is a really stand up dude, and you can tell he is in this for the right reasons. I was handed 3 sample packs, with Sleestack, Recon, and ECSD.

I had a really hard time picking a favorite strain. I think it was the Sleestack, just because it was so unique and different, yet also extremely potent. It was quality stuff.

The ECSD reminded me totally of regular Sour D that I'm accustomed to. It was delicious, and gave me the traditional uplifting sativa like high. I got citrusy fuely notes on the exhale.

The Recon, was also a really potent indica, and it reminded me a lot of Pre98 Bubba. It was definitely some pleasant evening smoke.

If you are ever fortunate enough to meet up with 1337, you are in for a treat.

Thanks again man! I'll hit you up soon as I have something for you.

http://www.hortusone.com/contactp.html

of course for name feel free to place your alias in there ;)

I got a great review from redbird in a pm. Were any of the strains sleepier than any of the others or more relaxing? I have a patient looking for insomnia medication

Sleestak and the Recon definitely made me sleepier.

The ECSD had a pleasant, almost energizing effect for me.

I'll make sure to get up on the H1 site too.

I wasn't sure it was ok to post reviews on RIU, thats why I pm'd on another site.

I told him when we met that I had never officially reviewed anything before, but he said i did fine. sorry it's not so organized, i took random notes on the attached card between my hardcore "space-outs" here's what i wrote:

i discovered during this process that i suck at pinpointing flavors, they mostly tasted the same....awesome/dankiness

Recon BX-1 calming, relaxing, clear headed high every time i smoked it, faint lime taste. choked hard on the first hit and drained all my sinuses right out. maced by the bong i would use this when i have the flu for sure and for anxiety

ECSD this was the hard one, i don't know what to say besides i really liked it. ripped of my ass every time, heavy stone, heavier than Recon, some burn out - good for night time

Sleestack this bud was so tight it was like a little rock or pine cone. also a heavy strain, gave me a warm fuzziness near my temples, and heavy eyes. i looked in the mirror and looked stoned for the first time in years - red, chinese eyes - like a teenager! also has burnout, more than ECSD. I tasted neem. it faintly tasted the way neem smells. i thought that was cool cause it gave me a meaty, girthy impression. if these 3 samples were my meals, sleestack would be dinner for sure

please let me know if you need to know something i did not cover, and thanks again!
