No, I am not Ernst. that is the main reason why i have been bring up the point, this should effect the continental US (including Alaska & Hawaii )
Local customs and local communities are important to consider. There isn't anyway to see California in the same light as say Your State.
What will be okay there may not find welcome here. So with that said I do see things in a biased way since We have to legalize for California.
Our biggest problem is that many believe they can grow, sell and retire from Cannabis and all they wish to see is that they will not go to jail for it.
They are not in favor of market change since Cannabis freedom for those people means the right to make money.
So Michael, all the drama and frustration aside, there needs to be something that when the Federal Government establishes new Cannabis policy that there will be at least one State where Horticulture rights for the people are the foundation of that State's Cannabis laws. California I assume is the best state for passing such a liberty. We must think of the future people.
With out that the future people will still have problems. We should not let our current financial selfishness and corruption define what True Cannabis freedom is in the State of California.
We have those who point to a permit system and say see you have to report your status and they are in favor of 10x10 or 5x5 to hobble the individual so that production is limited when the very act of complaining that there is oversight suggests that they themselves plan to ignore their own laws.
On example was group who own SeedBay and IcMag.com.. They openly supported prop 19 but for money they will sell allow sales to any age. And when I questioned their support for 21 and over and pointed out the fact that they are saying one thing and doing another.. Well that was the beginning of the end of my membership there. I also removed about 2000 photos from about 800 threads when I left.
When the actual issue is which green are you legalizing Money or Cannabis comes right down to it? I feel those wanting to legalize the Drug Money would rather see cannabis stay illegal for everyone besides them.
Anyway The California question was to find out what part of the State you represent.
We cannot have a revolution if people don't stand up and stand out.
So my prediction is this. 2012 will see another combination initiative and it will fail. Those in the black market and grey market (medical) will continue to make profits and Washington State or Oregon will get their laws passed.
The People on the other hand will still face prison, being fired, evicted and will spend a lot more than is fair for cannabis for another two years.
