The microbes in the soil help break things down to a more neutral ph they make things more accessible for the plant what they are saying is if you do all the ph’ing the microbes won’t have anything to do as your making everything accessible as it is sorry for long running sentence was a voice to message

My water is pH'd to 8.2 and ranges from 7.4-8.4 out of the tap. I've been using it in soil for decades without adjusting pH. Auto's, photo's, houseplants, vegetables, herbs, etc...
I only pH in coco or hydro. I never even knew anyone bothered in soil until I started reading about it on cannabis forums. Even then I never started doing it. Cannabis growers tend to overcomplicate things and do things that are unnecessary. Any decent soil is going to have buffering agents in it that will handle the pH.

Thanks for the info guys. At first I sore I wasn't going to mess around with it too much and just see what happens. Not gna ph my water anymore.
