I have a Blueberry x Mendo Purp plant growing outdoors right now that I am going to LST.
It has alot of internodal space and has a vine-like, SO...Instead of a Normal LST, I am going to see if I can:
scrape off part of the outer layer of the 2-3 internode, apply some Rooting Hormone, and bury that part in the soil to develop a second set of roots. I am thinking that this would help with not only nutrient transfer but also moisture transfer, as my region in very hot and dry.
Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this sort of experiment? I think it could really help my plant make the most of its soil and nutes.
