There is no way to increase female ratio that any one knows There will be soon tho we can control human birth nearly So Thats why i told him something i heard ,
There is pro,s practicing all ways hoping to control sex through photos i passed on what i heard And told him its most likely a myth

The stress causing growth is not a myth just like pruning topping fimming pinching thats all makes rapid growth after stress does it not .. So all other stress is ok it seems

The light leeks in flower can cause hermies not really common if it gets 1 extra hour on the 18/6 wont make much of a stress not as much as use lot haha

I bet when topping first got talked of the nobbs fired the quotes in kill him its wrong (not you mate your not a nobb)

Just because you havent heard of it dont make it untrue , Even know your a pro man i know imagin

Makes some scence to me ... I think it was DutchMasters made the write up look it up , They will call you a arrogent ass bedroom grower that thinks he knows it all . Thats my views

i also heard that an hour of light in between the night cyles make the plants predominately female...and as far as stress goes a plant needs some stress to be healthy and strong thus making u a much much more of a happy grower

Dude stomping on something is one thing, you are acting some what childish on that one, and sounding like a noob. If your lights go out and you put them on for an hour and they go out again, then thats a storm. PLants like people know their sleep schedule, and you are fucking with there sleep. Plants need night thats why 18/6 reports better growth then 24/0. During those 6 hours the plants produce co2, which is needed for daytime growth.

dude, you have no idea what your talking about. topping and fiming both stress the plant (you at least have that much information correct:roll:) but topping or fiming does not cause rapid growth as you say. the purpose behind topping is to stop the vertical growth of the main stalk. that way it forces the plant to put its energy into growing the side branches which is why you top to create bushier plants.

WELL heres something i experienced this year, I bought 20 seeds of white russian, planted half in my greenhouse and the rest outside, all came to life... we had a extreme hot summer here, and temperature was often about 45 - 50 degrees celcious inside the greenhouse and my tomatoes and my WR loved it, the funny thing is all plats inside turned female!! outside i had about fifty fifty, ....so my guess is high temperature can make females, ... becuz what is the chance of throwing 10 coins up in the air and they all land on the same side (0,5) yx 10 equals 0,0009766

When you grow your weed under proper conditions the right temperature ,water Carbon dioxide the final resul is Photosynthesis . The intencity of the light and illumination all predict the amount of photosynthesis . When the light go off the Photosynthesis stops the energys gone .. The light going back on for a hour is suppose to make them grow more resinis thicker and sticker . with the early stress and shock

I do not top i fimm and lst i found topping stuned the growth to a stop then it swelled out when the lights energy was sprend wide insead of focusing on the top .

The is a million ways a grower and grow ..

dude it got wider because when you top the main stalk it can't grow that way any longer. this diverts the plants energy to the side branching which causes the plant to stay bushy and get wider. i dont know how i can explain this any clearer, but your premise is that stress is causing this. ITS NOT, pysiologically i can not grow any other way! go read the grow faq before you start posting erronious advice and cause someone to kill their plant because "the plant likes stress."

you have a few more post than me and your telling me to read FAQ lol Roll it up faq is not the only way to grow ... If any 1 you havent got a clue.

When was it sayed that the stress from topping makes it react .
i says clearly that when topping the lights energy spreads has a wider field of tops to focus on equaling more energy to the plant
rather than the 1 single chola the point was that no hermie were comiing out as a cause of stress so theres no reason why a hour extra light would cause hermie ,

That's anecdotal evidence (personal experience). I've gone the other direction - I keep my temps between 70-75 when vegging and have had all females (except for a female seed that went hermie during flower from heat stress). I don't know of any studies showing ways of increasing the female ratio, but I'd love it if someone decided to do one.

A plant's sex is determined before you even germinate the seeds...just like everything else on this planet. Sex is based on genes and you cannot alter somethings genetics after it is born.(except maybe through genetically engineered viruses...?)
