Forbidden runtz fastbud?

So this is my first time growing this strain (forbidden runtz ) and for some reason it’s ready for harvest at only 47 days into flowering I’ve checked the trichomes and most are cloudy with a few ambers starting to come in so I’ve decided to harvest because I want to go for the more upity /energetic type bud! Does anyone have any info on this strain or have grown it before ?

Smh I just didn’t want the trichomes to turn amber is it a bad thing if they didn’t swell will it lose thc ? And also if I would have let them swell I would have gotten more bud huh? Sorry I know it’s slot of questions This is my first completed grow!

You picked an apple while it was still green. Other words yeah. You lost weight potency flavor and smell. The thing is. Cannabis requires those “amber” trichomes. Part of ripening. If you like racy uplifting buzz. Find the best suited strain. You’ll be far much happier. I promise. But great job getting to a harvest for your first grow!! Most don’t even get that far.

Trichomes develop like a standard normal curve: standard-normal-distribution-1024x633.png

Think of this like amber on the right, clear on the left, and cloudy in the middle. You're going to have to sacrifice some to amber in order to get the maximum in the middle, or cloudy. If you want to harvest with zero amber, you're going to lose a lot of cloudy that haven't developed from clear. Amber is not the enemy. Clear is.

As the above posters has already said, you are weeks out yet. What isn't mentioned much in the "trichome guides" is you always want to make sure you are checking the Calyx and not the leaves for trichomes. Trichomes are a tricky business. For a new grower you first want to check the pistols. When 90% of them have turned brown and start receding is when you want to start looking at trichomes.
