So I'm getting my badge and was wondering, when I start putting applications in should I put down on the app that I have been growing illegally for 5 years or would that be a red flag to an employer. Just wondering what you all that was in my situation did ? Thanks everyone.

What badge is this?

I'm kinda looking for some accredited course I could take but preferably one that you can just challenge the exams without wading thru all the course material. I've been growing and studying about growing for almost 40 years and tho not at expert level I'm definitely at an advanced level.

I was just checking out the deal at medicalmarijuanaunited.com but their site won't even load in my TOR/Firefox browser. $20/mth so I need to know what it is they offer and if anyone in the industry really recognizes it. I spent 3 years in my 30s getting a diploma in environmental chemistry and don't want to spend any more time going to school again than I have to. In my 60s now so time is precious. :)

I could have had a job as a budtender in Kelowna, BC when I was out there in August but the pay sux. Should be perks tho and even being in contact with people would be a perk for a guy that lives way up in the boonies. Especially people of the female persuasion. :)

:peace:

Thanks everyone and sorry for the badge confusion lol. I should have specifically said my Colorado MED Badge. And OldMedUser I know of thcuniversity.org , I think Jorge Cervantes has something to do with it.

I'm not signing up for anything right away if ever but like to find out what's going on in the burgeoning cannabis industry.

I really like growing for my own use but think I would find growing for a living boring as hell. Working in the lab area, making concentrates, quality control or even a budtender in my own dispensary would be more along the lines of what I'd prefer. Was talking to a hydro store owner in Kelowna that's looking to get out of the business but I would be more into the sales/inventory side as I have no experience in running a business and dealing with all the paperwork, accounting etc and no desire to learn it so would need a partner that's into that. Would need a business partner anyhow to raise the money to buy the guy out. He says he has a quarter mil in inventory and I could only raise about half that.

Would prefer to be 20 years younger too. I had a lot more get up and go when I was in my 40s but in my 60s all my get up and go seems to have got up and left! :D
