I love New Balance 608s. I had a pair about a 13 years ago that cost about $90, they lasted about 3 hard years (singles tennis, racquetball, cycling). Then this sports shoe shop had them on sale about a decade ago for $33 including tax! I bought 3 pairs. I just opened the third pair last month, long lasting shoes and super comfy. They don't make them anymore :( I also have a couple of pairs of expensive leather sandals, and some black slip on mesh sketchers, as well as a couple of pairs of black dress shoes for gigs, and a slip on pair of winter boots. I like slip ons because I can put them on quickly to deliver weed to clients that stop by, then kick 'em off and chill at home. I'm at home 90% of the time, so usually barefoot. For the winter, I have a luxurious pair of LL Bean sheepskin slippers, they are amazingly comfy and warm. I live in them from November to April...

For work boots I have 3 different pairs of Caterpillar and one pair of Ariat cowboy boots. All my work boots are steel or composite toe. Today I'm wearing one of my older pair of Caterpillars

Not sure if you can see in the first pic, but this pair of Cats zip down on the side so I can take them off without unlacing them. I really like these boots

For tennis shoes I have 1 pair20210917_072753.jpg of New Balance that I keep in the work truck for when I have time to go out walking or exploring

I have 1 pair of Adidas Terrex I keep at home for around the yard

Before I found Asics fit my feet a little better I wore New Balance 99X. My husband still wears them and loves them. He's not a fan of their current clown colors.

I don't think I have. The really expensive NB I was looking at had them though I think. Let's check.

Wearing out a couple pair of Keen hikers and they have served well but not as durable as Rockport. Soles on these brands have had good grip under many different conditions. Keen seems to have long lasting support. All mine are waterproof. I wear boots all the time after repeated ankle sprains. Also live in really quite rough terrain and walk all the time.
