I assume we've all seen what has taken place in Boston. If you haven't, please crawl out of whatever rock you've been under. You could use some light. Any who, so we've all seen what happened in the days after. The pursuit, lock down, door to door searches. My question is, if a "terrorist, maniac, or ultimately a threat to public safety" happens to be in your area. What rights do you have? Say your a smoker and you've got some green laying around, or your a grower and have some trees in the corner. Perhaps even a shotgun in the closet. At what point are you totally fucked? Because from MY understanding of the law, if they have a warrant/they are in hot pursuit. They are allowed to enter your property. At that point, all bets are off. What are your opinions?

I thought about that too, and I think it points to a future where they could stage an 'event' to gain access to people's homes under the pretext of 'security'.

I would actually think that one would be better off with "warranted" searches as opposed to "unwarranted" searches. At least a warrant specifies who/what is being searched for and (at least) should limit arrests and or confiscations to what is on the warrant. With that bs in boston, hell, anything goes.

listen to me, you are property of the united states govt. they can and will reserve the right at any time to do whatever they want to you regardless of law and maybe fix itself later, you have no rights if 'shelter in place' is announced and at ANY time they can come in or comandeer your home or whatever property they want. im sorry that i have to put it this way but its the straight honest truth, i mean, you saw what happened in boston.....right?
