Foliar Mix Questions

My buddy had some RAW bags of Yucca, Silica, Kelp, and Humic that he wasn’t using so I snagged them and I’m curious about using them as a foliar I interchange with Dr Zyme’s every five days or so. I’m curious about adding essential oils or citric acid. I know there are people on here much more knowledgeable about recipes, mixture rates, how things interact and what not than myself and I’d love to have a solid foliar spray recipe. Thanks for any info and help!
 
@hotrodharley Hey, I enjoy reading your posts and like the info you share. I just saw you mention humic acid reducing THC 37% in a study and was curious about that and your opinion on a foliar recipe if possible. Thanks for your time and help!

That’s the extent of my knowledge on the subject and I’m still trying to find out more. I use a fulvic and humic acid combination myself. So I’m very interested. There’s nothing negative noted for the use of fulvic which is what I’ve used until now.

Humus is composed of humin which is not water soluble so useless to us and of fulvic acid and humic acid. Humic feeds the microbes so there’s questions I have there. Humic acid is what the bugs get from molasses. Anyway I’m going to finish this grow using this once a week and see what I find out. Without benefit of actual lab analysis.

Super interesting read. We just don’t know so much yet. The next 5-10 years will be awesome to see more actual science on cannabis. Thanks for sharing!

For sure. I got these bags for free, so I’ll use them up. But, once I buy a house in the near future I’ll be able to setup my own garden and everything. I prefer doing stuff myself and as naturally as possible. Looking forward to getting back into soil too. Another year or so though unfortunately.

I bought a bag of humic fulvic combination. Powdered. I’ve never heard anything negative about using either until I read that paper a while back. My plants love it.
