Folded

Hi,

my little plants goes well in Aerofarm+Rockwoll but I've a question about the folding of the peduncle. After the germination I've putted the rockwoll inside the grow but few days ago (with a normal grow rate) the peduncles of the plants is folded to the ground.

I'm wondering if it's about the weight of the leaves on the thin peduncle or what.

In the next weeks the peduncles will go straight to the light source or will be remain folded?

PS: I've fixed the heat issue with more ventilation fan and a external gain of fresh air :)

Edit: the plants are at the 5° day of the first week. PH 5.2 EC 0.7 + BioRoots. EC and PH are stable I need only litte adjustment every other day.

You know, Man. A lot of folks have an Uncle who's a ped.

I guess he means petiole, or leaf stem. And I guess that means severe droop.

Small plants don't like the high humidity, or lack of enough dry air, in an active hydro system and easily get bogged down. You said you increased the fresh air flow, so that should help. I keep my pH around 5.8.

HTH

The RH is around 30%.. :)

I want to know if in the next day they will go up or remain folded...

I've used the "peduncle" term from this image :D

I'll post some photos

Ok, so here the photos of my fem AK47xLow

The aerofarm:

One of girl:
As you can see the first coupe of leaves have some sign of heat, as I've read in this forum, but the new couple looks fine

And now the folded:

On 5 plants, 3 of these have this trouble. Must I do something?

The plants are in the aerofarm from seven days.. good grow rate?

Looks like it was streched out, then a combination of not enough water (causing it to become limp), and no fan. resulting in the flacid appearance.
