Foam in dwc buckets

Just my experience, this is my first playing with dwc also so just speculations here. I was having some issues with light foam as well, if your solution is heavily aerated it could cause foam slightly, and even depending on the nutes it could foam. I’m in a 35 gallon bucket and when I lose about 5 gallons I start to foam slightly. I would just keep with consistent res changes, especially with that temp, I use a frozen 2L bottle and it takes my temps to 68 from 73f. I also use Hydroguard, they can’t ship to Illinois so I buy from eBay the sellers don’t care. Also wrapping your buckets in reflectixe from Home Depot took my temps from a constant 80 to 72 without ice, just an fyi.
That might be a secret jewel you just dropped right there about reflective around your buckets or res to help control water temps! Gotta write this one down

My led light warmed up my dwc buckets to 31c when air in the tent was 25c... yeah, I put panda film on the buckets and problem solved.

I had to double scrog it cuz i let it get too out of control. I have a lot of tops but the buds didn't get as big as I had hoped. I believe it is because of the genetics tho. Not the best grow I've ever done but seein's how it's my first hydro attempt with first time led light, I don't think it's that bad.

Criticism is highly encouraged by the way! :bigjoint:

I heard about using panda film as well and I was going to, but I was doing the math and imma broke college student so reflectix was cheaper in the long run. And I used reflective ducting tape and bam! After I cooled the water. It stays generally super cool and stable, of course this week in Illinois the water got up to 72f after multiple 95f days.
Plz don’t make fun of my shoddy defoliation lol

Looks good man! That silver stuff works a lil better than panda film imo because the air bubbles create better insulation.
