your not flushing chemicals out of the plant. you just flushing the nutes out of the soil so the plant uses the nutes that it has stored and not the nutes in the soil.

right..... ok nevermind..... i get that you use chemicals to adjust ph.... but there is no way of getting around that. were you asking why you use chemicals to flush? maybe I'm just confused.....

You can use vingar to lower ph. Only use a little at at time until it just right. Keep testing in between adds.

to flush i use spring water in a gallon jug ,, its 80 cents at the local store ,, it is a lil high on the PH scale ,, being in the hi 7's ,, so like always i add molasses while flushing ,, the molasses is acidic & will bring ph down to a good level.... i add about a shot glass of molasses per 1/2 gallon of water & it gets my PH at a nice 6.5
