flushing vs low nitrogen

I think that flushing is over-emphasized and low nitrogen in flowering stage is under-emphasized. Just got done drying my first harvest that I didn't flush. They taste great. I was searching forums of pros vs cons with flushing. I have an urge to want to go organic if I can figure out a soil nutritional wise, as long as I can get the other variables perfect (temps, light, humidity, etc). Any thoughts? Experiences? Any one get great tasting bud without flushing?

Ive experimented using organic's such as super earth tea bloom as a flushing agent. 1/4 strength and water of course. Seemed to have given it a more earthly taste. Very hard to tell from show to show would probably wanna try a side by side comparison. I will try it my self on a few
