i have a GH waterfarm and i was wondering if i'd get adverse affects if i didn't pH the water while i flushed. i'm planning on using GH flora kleen as well
There is no point whatsoever in flushing with ph'd water, as ph up or down are used to help the plant take up nutrients the exact opposite of what you want when flushing.
Straight water that has been standing at room temp will do the job.
I use Final Phase to flush hydro. It is recommended that you use PH of 7.0 during flush. Your plants do uptake the flushing solution to remove the nutrient salts that store in the flowers. Hope this helps

thanks fot the info, do you have a source for this?
this the first hydro plant i've grown, and i'm still surprised just how east it's been.
in soil, this strain starts eating itself by now, when i start the flush will it show signs of using it's internal sugars? it's still so green idk
Fenderman - I do not give false info. True, Advanced has recently changed the Final Phase label but if you go here http://www.gchydro.com/prd/PHA/Advanced_Nutrients/labels/finalphase_label.jpg you will see the old label. It clearly says Rockwool and soil - use with properly PH balanced water and Final cycle - ph should be adjusted between 5.2-5.8 for hydro and between 6.2-6.5 for soil. The only false info was the ph level which I misremembered. This is forgivable as my water is naturally 5.5 ph, so I no longer worry during flush.
