Im growing organic and i know that the tap water kills bacteria that are beneficial to the plant. ive been using spring water from my local grocery store and ph ing it.trichromes are full cloudy now on one plant and last night i decided to start the flush i used regular tap water its at about 8 ph i figured ph ing and water quality isnt as important now as i dont see the plant putting on any more weight.. but now i am wondering how important it really is at this stage. i still have one more to flush im thinking i will ph flush with spring water and see if there is a difference to compare.what are your guys opinion on this? also is flushing even that important if the bud is grown organic?

If you're full cloudy, and just trying to do the last minute flush, like some say is necessary, all you are theoretically doing is to let the plant use the last of it's 'stored' nutes and clean up, so your PH of 8 will not hurt.
My tap comes out right at 7.9, or 8.0, so I don't even PH anymore, feed every other or sometimes every second water, and don't have PH problems, even though I don't add lime to my mix.
Even more so than the flush or mot to flush controversy, it gets even more complex when you throw in the word "Organic".

Yes i did the emergency flush in the tub with a shower head haha! My last grows have all been synthetic nutes and ive had fairly good success.ive seen so many videos and threads about organics i just decided to try it this is my first attempt and it is more complicated than just using a 3 part chem system im still using adatives and all but they are organic line from humbolt nutrients.im using the myco madness and white widow myco.i noticed i havent had any burn issues but i have had more deficiencies.next i want to try the tga supersoil.im a noob but im trying to learn.i ph at 6.3-6.5 usualy but i checked my run off and it was at 7.2 idk how that happens im growing in a mix of fox farm of and perlite.maybe the ff has something to do with it but im no expert.i dont have a ppm meter so i have no clue about that lol! I still wonder if flushing is really important for flavor if its organic i guess maybe because of the fish and dead shit in the soil.just wondering what everyones view is on the subject.

You don't need to flush when using organics. The last couple of weeks just water. I've never had a problem.
You need to be careful when buying bottled water. some companies put chlorine in there water.
use distilled water or buy a RO/DI system.

i read that distilled water has chlorine in it still and.that spring water is best.the bottles i get have the process on the back and i dont smell chlorine in it.i also read that the type of chlorine used in tap water cant be removed by airing it out and the r/o sounds good might pick one up next cycle.im not a perpetual grower so it wont be untill these are done.i think ill do a full journal next time.and thanks for the advice i kind of figured flushing isnt very important with organics.

hey, save your self a lot of money and head aches , get a 5 gallon bucket put water in from tap, let it sit for 24 hours . then use the chlorine , disappears all by it self, like magic!

i think you're saying let the tap water sit for 24hrs then use it? i hear that works fine. i never did and didn't have any problems but mb my tap just has less chlorine. anyway i just wanted to say DON'T FLUSH YOUR PLANTS ANYMORE. If you're growing in water/hydro it's necessary. If in soil it's not. If you don't believe me ask Uncle Ben.

i heard that and ive done it but ive been reading that the chlorine doesnt evaporate anymore because of the kind that water treatment facilities use these days.so i just use spring water its about 1$ per gallon.and i only grow 2 to 4 plants at a time so it doesnt hurt my pocket lol!

lol so many people stress the flush thing.but in nature plants arent flushed so y do it.i get it if u use synthetic fertilizers.i guess the only way to find out is a side by side.
