Flushing post-harvest?

I picked up some bud the other day that was terribly cured. It smells awful and tastes nasty as fuck, but it did get me high so I know it's not bad weed.

Any help?

lol flushing post harvest....no i dont know about that one , buddy...I know theres a lot of debate going on in here...flush or no flush....i always have dankest buds that i grew....I did the method is no flush...after i found out about the flush method...i did tried...i cant tell difference...anyways about the awful taste...maybe that plant have infestation with mite or some of kind of fungus that have to spray on buds with chemicals pestciles etc...that caused taste awful and nasty that you smoked, thats my two cent, pal.

^^^ if it is potent keifing it or making oil are options or butter...

It's really potent bud covered with frosty crystals. I thought it might b mold at first, but it passed every test. The bud is too dry for mold anyway, it breaks up very easily. I think it might be some kind of chemical sprayed on. When vaping it has a very unpleasant, harsh pre-taste and the aftertaste of licking a dirty soil-covered leaf.

Quite disgusting. I've been vaping it with tea to avoid the taste.

Certainly not. When grinded very finely, the bud released a much more fruity aroma mixed in with the disgusting smells. It was noticeable and came from the innermost portion of the bud. By itself, however, it tastes just how I described.
