Flushing every once in awhile

well I'm not going to be using organic nutes and I have had some that still had nutes in it. The Strains that are longer (ie 8 weeks) you can get away with 1 week flush

How do you know it still had nutes in? Did you grow it yourself? Was it cured properly? I always let mine dry slowly, over 2 weeks, then sit it in glass jars for at least another two weeks, burping the jars every day so the air doesn't get stale, then usually leave it to sit for anything up to a month until I decide to start smoking it.
I tried quick drying before curing once, and it tasted like shit, and seemed to lose most of the overpowering smell that cheese has.
My mates hydro is pumped full of chemical ferts, he ramps it up to 1800ppm in the last 3-4 weeks and cured right, it's beautiful to smoke.
All I'm saying is give it a try, you might be suprised at the results.
