True. The word is pretty much used within' this group of people to distinguish between making blue chemical soup as your plant food, and using naturally made products along with microscopic life to feed the plants.

Some people are complete baffoons when it comes to one or the other.

As far as flushing with an organic growing method, I still see arguments. IMO, since there isn't/shouldn't be a build up of salt, or anything else (like there can easily be when using the blue chemical soup method) then you wouldn't need a flush.

Some people say that it doesn't matter which method is used, a flush is needed anyway just to make the plant suck up extra goodies. I've even seen arguments that hinged on, "well nature flushes, you should too."

Flush some, don't flush others. Make your own mind up and see what works for you, and your methods. If you're using all "organic stuff" then I doubt even the unflushed ones will taste bad.

Way to get technical. Very true as well, but the mass society as a whole has labeled all non-syntheticly grown crops as being "organic" as a means to marginalize and profitize off of naturally grown foods. Semantics are very important, but we all know what someone means when they say that they grow "organically".

I've always known to flush my plants even when growing all organic. On my next crop I'm not going to and see what the difference is.
