Flush or Nah

First Grow Problems
Yellow Tips, some with small brown tips.

1 month old in Veg
Coco w/perlite
Nutes - GH
Humidity 60-70%
Aim for Ph around 6, uses GH drops


I realized late last week that my roots were coming out the bottom and I had the buckets sitting in runoff. I didnt expect them to grow that fast after transplant. I now have proper drainage.
Also, didn’t realize I needed to test ph with each water as I was only testing when I initially mixed my nutes. Noticed yesterday my ph was way off.

So with those issues rectified, will she be ok, or do I need to flush first?
Also, do you see any other issues?

You definitely have some issues creeping up but that could be cause your ph was off. Mag def creeping in and your new growth looks a little funky.
So def keep you ph as close to 5.8 I think

If your in coco don't you water to runoff? I thought in coco you water to runoff every watering to flush out any excess salts in the coco, so if your doing that I think you should be ok if you keep your ph in check and give them proper nutrients, which it looks like you are as your plants look healthy other than the newer growth and your mag issue.

I've never ran coco, I use dry amendments with pro mix. So I'm not sure if flushing is necessary but my guess would be no.

Hopefully someone with more coco experience can chime in. But that's my thoughts

I am watering until runoff, so hopefully she will get better now that I’ll fix my issues.

I use GH drops to ph, but maybe I’ll switch to the pen for more accuracy

Grow green MI has the Hanna PH pens for 31 bucks worth every penny. It’s worth getting since you want your ph to be as close to target as possible. You should be ok as long as you keep your ph adjusted right and keep watering to runoff they should turn around for ya.
 
Flushing is for toilets and roots outside the pot is normal
Letting sit in runoff can cause your issues
It feels like you are just doing a hummingbird on your plants
Flying from one area to another not really doing anything that appears productive or you are just spitballing ideas
 
It appears to be primarily a ph issue coupled with possibly a micro deficiency. I would aim for a touch lower pH and offer the ladies some cal/mag. Just to be clear...You are mixing your nutes in the water then testing pH of mixed solutions?
GH Cali/Magic has been a great product for me.

There are also great pH pens available via Amazon in the $30 range. Same pen at my local store is $60. It is sometimes amazing g just how resilient these girls can be.

Yes, I am. I also add calmag first when mixing my nutes
 
Check the PH of your solution before you feed it to the plants. A common misconception is checking the PH of the starting water and that isn't what you do. You want to PH whatever your about to feed.

What General Hydro line are you running? They have quite a few..

Oh really? I’m using the Flora Trio. Not familiar with the others
