Flush for too long?

Hey everybody,

I am on day 45 of my very first grow (Bubba Kush) and I started flushing already (last feeding was at day 41) since I thought the plant would be done in 57 days.

After reading around it looks like 9 weeks might be a better idea, so I'm wondering if I should feed them one more time, or continue to flush?

The last 2 feedings I gave were pretty hot doses if that matters...

Also I apologize if I'm using the wrong terminology, I know "flush" usually means putting a bunch of water through once, and what I'm doing is called "leaching" but I'm not sure. :peace:

Thanks!

If the leaves are still a good green, Keep flushing!! If you're in soil, youll never notice. If youre in hydro, it could be a good thing! A lot of growers like to go nitrogen def in the end anyhow. Me, I keep mine green to the end, but either way does fine. The plants will consume whatever nutrients they've stored as they finish. I sometimes quit watering mine if they arent ready after my flush week. Make em go thirsty then die die die!! Hopefully an extended flush will end in less leaves to trim thru, and a smoother flavor. Relax man, at this point, youre waiting to kill em anyhow. Just remember, they wont get that awsome skunk smell and flavor till they cure a couple weeks.

Hope I helped. Happy growing!!

Yes that did help, some leaves are yellow but the majority are green...

Any other opinions?

I flush for the last 2-3 waterings in soil and the last 3 days of hydro. You can flush too much in that your plant really pumps out a lot of resin in the last two weeks and if it doesn't have the food to do so, you're hurting yourself.
