Flush before harvest

I have a white widow plant that is 8 weeks into flowering the hairs have started to turn orange just recently but i did not expect this to happen since the flowering time has been stated up to 12 weeks so I have not flushed yet. I do not own a loupe so i can not examine the tricomes up close to verify how close I am to harvest, any help would be cool.

The white widow I have grown in the past turns orange on the hairs pretty quick into flowering. Usually has been in week 6 or 7. In my opinion, you still have a few weeks. My ww fan leaves turned yellow about two weeks before finish. I usually feed straight water the last two weeks so that is where the yellow comes from I'm sure. I do flush, however. A few gallons with a flushing solution, then just a few gallons of plain water. I grow in two gallon pots and this seems to work for me.

you dont need a loupe, its a useful tool, but just watch for the calyx to swell and the hairs to recede, when its done, it will look, well, done. And it depends on your desired effects. The longer you let it go, the more couchlock you get. But IMHO, 2-3 weeks still.

Flushing is the process of only giving your plant clean water to "Flush" the chemicals and things you don't want out of your plant so when you harvest it doesn't contain all the bad stuff...just keep reading through the many threads on here you'll learn it all faster than asking.
