fluffy buds

why do my buds come out fluffy and not hard? i use fox farms, 1000 watt lights,in soil indoors. dont know what else u need to know but i am a newbie at this started about a year ago and have had no luck, dont know what to do anymore thanks for any info

What strains have you grown? How many plants do you put under your light? How far is your light from your canopy? How long do you veg?

what are your temps like? and i also agree, what strains are you growing? with 1k of lights, they should be pretty rock hard imo..
but sativa's tend to be looser then indica's, so if you're growing a sativa or sativa dom's, that might be part of the answer right there.. :D

Heat, genetics, lotta N, early harvest. Depends what your comparing to..I know alot of growers use a hardener..

i have 8 under 1 light, the plants are kush plants,light is about 12 inchs off top i veg for 2-3 months so they are good size, the temps vary between 50s to 75

Unless you have a very well controlled room/tent, then I would say there is no possible way you are keeping temps in mid 70's during lights on. Heat is a huge contributing factor into getting airy buds.
