Simply put I want to use the Mean Well series HVG series drivers to power Fluence’s Spydr series fixtures (example: Mean Well HVGC-650W Driver with a Fluence Spydr 2P.

Firstly, are they compatible? Secondly, can I pull it off with a pretty basic knowledge of LED/wiring and a soldering gun?

I’m not stuck on those Mean Well drivers at all... I’m open to any compatible alternatives to whatever trash that fluence includes stock with their fixtures.

Please and Thank You, my friends!

my understanding is that the drivers that initially shipped with the Spydr series were trash. I purchased 2nd hand without drivers. So warranty is of no concern... I just want to light them up like Clark Griswold’s house on Christmas Eve !

We can help but need to know the driver specs, output current and voltage. Do you have one of the old drivers?

I have heard to get the meanwell HLG-600H-54B for the fluence spydr 2i.
Yep that’s the one I got, here’s the specs for anyone wondering, for future endeavors (first photo)

Then there’s a Cpl of photos of drivers that will work perfectly with said light!
