Thing is that diy'rs need to understand that running them higher then 130w will leave them in DE then SE hps zone as far as efficiency is concerned & that was the word of the year last year. So realistically 100w pads to be where most of us wanna be.
Got par #'s for 100w?. That'll be like 2.2-3 umol/j if Shanes (MiGro) #'s are correct. Theyre usually a tiny bit lower then advertised.
My Plants reacted well to them.
Need a few more runs to tell if i like the spectrum. The green spike in the 4k makes me nervous & is usually why some mix high & low k temps to achieve the 4k. Then enhance it. We'll see.

The difference in μMol/J numbers are because he's measuring the light that reach the plants with a certain distance while the suppliers deliver raw efficiency number measured in the sphere.
The light loss because of height, reflection aso is the difference between his and the official numbers. One is called LED efficiency the other includes wall, height and driver loss and is called system efficiency.

So shouldnt manufactures be giving us sysytem efficiency?
Few companies own spheres & fewer are sending out for 3rd party testing. Leaving the data sheets from the led manufacturer. Which i feel is pretty misleading. At least its an effert. Unless its done to appear the highest.
