Today is day 17 since I switched to 12/12

Out of 24 plants 14 were females. They are starting to bud now and a few are smelling skunky already. 2 of the ladies are starting to turn purple.

Here come the buds. It's day 19 and I'm just two days away from finishing the 3rd week of my light being 12/12.

There are lots of buds starting to form. The top colas seem to be looking good so far, at least in my opinion. Trichomes (crystals) are starting to form on almost all the buds.

watch your n
I am using the Advanced nutrients 3 part. Would you recommend backing off on the Micro base a little? It's the only thing I'm giving them that has much N right now.

Why do you recommend backing off on N? The 3 part AN mix is a 1:1:1 ratio. I don't want to reduce one part and screw something up. I'm using Big Bud with the 3 part but it has no N.

Micro 5-0-1
Grow 2-1-6
Bloom 0-5-4
Big Bud 0-15-40
Thrive Alive 1-1-1
Rhizotonic 0.6-0-0.6

Maybe because they are looking really dark green? All I know is - they look very awesome.

Do you not know the strain, or just don't want to tell?

Its a new cross that I promised not to tell the genetics of. The purple is a mystery. Neither the mother or father that helped to produce the seeds had any purple traits. I thought it was just one but as they are maturing 2 more and possible a 3rd have started to show signs of purple coloring.

will seeds of this new strain ever be available for sale?
Not unless the they are stolen from me or the creator. There's nothing to get too excited about just yet. This is the first time this new cross is being grown. The parents that made this strain are amazing and also highly protected. I'm hoping the genetic mix will be a good combo but it's too early to tell.

If they do produce good buds I'm going to re-veg the best two and keep them as mothers. I can't wait until harvest. I already have some more great genetics vegging for the next round. I got my hands on some OG Kush and Jedi from another grower that are mind blowing.

I'm lucky enough to be connected to some of the best growers in my state and have access to some of the best genetics in the world. One of the draw backs is that I have to makeup bullshit names sometimes so nobody can tie me to the original grower.

You can be the best grower but without the genetics you can't grow chronic. Since I started growing I've learned a lot about the importance of genetics. A grower I know bought a mother for $14000 once from a connection through Cypress Hill. I thought he was stupid at first but soon realized that $14000 is a small price for one of a kind genetics like these.

Did you start all of those from seedlings? Or are they clones?

And what kind of hydroponic system are you running?

EDIT: I see that it is EBB and Flow? Care to say how much your system cost? Right now I'm leaning towards getting a bubbleponics system. I'm not sure though. Are you growing in a grow tent?

so your using a 600watt hps?
600W Eye Hortilux HPS for flowering.

New Wave T5 28 for veg. It is eight 2 foot T5's and uses a total of 192 watts. I can get the light a few inches from the canopy without burning them using this light. It needs little ventilation

I use linkable 8 24 watt T5's for my mother. They are linkable and line the walls of the room.

Flowering, Veg, and Mother are all in separate tents. I use the same setup for flower and veg except a 2x2 tray for veg and a 3x3 for flower. I have some WaterFarms for mothers. They are easy to maintain and work great for single plants

Started from seed. This is my first time ever growing from seed myself but I have a lot of experience farming seed crops.

I don't know anything about bubbleponics or aeroponics. I stick to the old fashion ebb & flow or drip methods.

I bought an aeroponics clone machine once and had less than a 25% success rate. LOL. I gave that shit away and stuck with Olivia's and rockwool and have no problems.

I can't say how much I paid because nobody would believe me. Lets just say that most shops are doing a 100% mark up. If I give away my secret shop they won't be able to handle the traffic and I will screw myself over
