Flowering with UnderCurrentDWC

I've always been told to dry/cure in the dark/equivalent.. Those t5s probably aren't too dark, right? I know fluorescents aren't hids but still..

Hey undercurrent, Can I ask what spectrum bulbs you have in your T5 array? Are you using any of the aquarium artinic bulbs? The plants due veg better under the t5 as compared to MH, but man, the coverage is soo much poorer with T5. Maybe I'll put a bad boy T5 on a light mover.. just to get that little extra something.

Lastly, your roots are looking to get a little long, are you going to prune them soon or are you going to wait a little longer? My clones are almost ready to put in net pots and start to veg and establish enough roots to put in the UC. It seems to be taking FOREVER as I want to play with that UC!

Are you implying that I dry my buds under a T5?

I built a completely light sealed bud dryer for that.

Yes I do use a few actanic bulbs. I use a Plant P.A.R spectrum, It peeks in the blue and red. All bulbs can be found in my sig.
Meah!... I feel the T5 coverage is superior to Hid (inverse square law).

I've never pruned my roots. These will actually be the smallest plants / roots That I have started in the Uc so far.

Do you have any pics of your Uc to share?

I have been soooo lazy about taking pics. I will take some tonight though when the lights come on (I got bored and decided to threw some coco other in the flower room).

ok, so finally I got some pictures of "deep space 2000". Pretty basic stuff. total of 8 ten gallon totes under a total of 6 600's. piped together with 3" PVC. I have a 1400 GPM pump circulating water and I plumbed that with a PVC as well. I insulated everything just because I had it laying around.



And of course here is the super duper mega water chiller that cost me $149 and has the cooling power of at LEAST a 1/2 hp unit. Dehu condensor coil sitting in a cooler full of water. There is a little pump that pumps that cold ass water through the stainless coils in the control module. I bought a temperature controller for it so I don't have to mess with a timer but the first time I tested it out I set the room at 85 and had the dehu come on for 15 minutes every hour. 16 hours later the water was 63! yikes.



I can do allot of things but I will be damned if I can figure out how the hell to post full size pictures in this forum.

Your 10 gallon totes look very similar to what I'm using... sterilite?

Question for you. Are those 2" net pots? Do you find that by the end of flowering they are pretty bound up in them? Also, is that just a bubble dwc they are in now? Just wondering what those blue hoses were

They're 6"

There are 2 sets of 2 tote grow systems there, One is uc'd with a recirculating 350gph water pump + 40lpm of air from 3 air stones. and the other is basically a dwc connected with 2" pvc with 40lpm air from 2 stones no active recirculation.

The Orange (blue) hoses are 3/8 air supply leading to two 9" round air diffusers.

great job undercurrent! doin it up that drying rack is clean, im gonna copy your design, and take credit with my friends LOL... lookin good i need to get off my lazy arse and clean my garage so i can build a veg/mother room.

I am absolutely loving your setup. As soon as I finish up this crop I am going to try and mimick your every move.. My god.. I bet it's so much easier for bigger grows!
