I have been searching for good threads regarding flowering with 2700K T5 HO bulbs, but the most I could find is using the 6500K for flowering AKA fluffy buds and low yield.

Has anyone grown and harvested weed flowered under the 2700K?

I currently have (2) four-bulb 2" T5HO grow light fixtures with 6500K's in 'em. Do you suggest that I run with a blended light spectrum vs. going totally 2700K or your redsun's?

Yes. The flora suns are full spectrum and largest peak at 660nm redsuns are 630nm mostly. For veg I found the 5400k from htg work best. I currently have one going with 2 redsuns 2 flora suns and 4 5400k. Will be swapping 2 more flora suns in. I'm experimenting with the 5400k. I'm following led leads. But I know t5's kelvin bulbs are not full spectrum like white leds.

Drfostersmith.com - flora suns

Marine depot or hello lights - redsuns.

I used 2700k t5 VHO for bloom and had great results. The VHO t5 produces more lumens than a HO, so I'm not sure if my answer helps.

Do not use vho bulbs. They run twice the wattage and last half as long as ho. I get tight dense large buds with my spectrum mix. 0.8 - 1 gpw is my usual yield. Lumens mean nothing to plants. The more yellow and green there is the higher the lumens which plants only absorb 20% of yellow and green. .. lumens. By definition is visible light to the human eye. Its all about par umole/s watts/m2.. Lumens has no place in growing. It only applies to flashlights, headlights, etc...

I have a few journal entries with t5 but I was using Fiji purples then instead of flora suns.

Been growing with T5 HO for yrs now, 6500K for veg and 3000K for flower and have good success, most places I've search I could not find 2700K bulbs usually just 3000K, but as I said I have decent grows.

Just flipped my T5 Ho grow to 12/12, last grow I did not have enough 3000K bulbs and I think it made my yield suffer. We will see how this grow goes with more 3000K bulbs and some Plant Pink bulbs.
