Those varieties are sativa dominant, right? That would mean a 9-10 week flowering period. Purple is an indica trait so that one might mature a week or two sooner.

But yeah, checking the trichs is the only way to know for sure. Get a little 30x illuminated microscope ($30 bucks) and keep an eye on them.

switch her into flower when u see the preflowers appear or when u see shes gettin too tall for ur grow area - remember in flower this plant will triple in size.

I will get you pics as soon as possible.the last batch I grew the trics never turned amber like everyone says.I do have a microscope that I watch them through.I have red that once they turn amber its done I have also red that when the trics go from standing straight up to leaning over its done.thanks for the link it has helped.
