Flowering then back to Veg?

I read two conflicting pieces of information. One says that once a plant is in flowering for maybe about a month, it will continue to flower regardless of the photo-period, whether it is kept at 12/12 or changed to 18/6 or 24/0. The other says that if a plant is initiated to flower, and if exposed back to 18/6 or 24/0, it will revert and go back to vegetative growth. So which is right? Just wondering, thinking that maybe I can flower my female, then place it outside to finish to avoid the tell-tale smell, seeing as how I live in an apartment complex.

I just wanna know for informational purposes, so it will revert back to vegetating if the photoperiod is moved back to 18/6 - 24/0 from 12/12?

The point of early flowering is to find out the plants sex early then toss the males.Get them back into the vegatative state and grow females! They will go back to the vegatative stage but not sure if they will after a month of flowering..

if they are indica strain they will continue to flower. i have 2 in my backyard flowering right now.

Say, basically, if I put it under 12/12 for a month or so, then moved it outside, where the lighting isn't 12/12, it would continue to flower regardless?

And does this look like indica? Its a female, couple days over 8 weeks old.

Mr I Can Do That For Half
Kinda hard to tell if its indica or sativa looks to have traits of both may have been from ahybred somewhere back down the line. I personally am against going from flower back to veg as it stress the plant and can cause hermies or decreased yields.I sex non cloned plants by taking an early clone of all the unknowns get them rooted then toss the clones into 12/12 within a few days the clones will show sex then just match female clones back to the mom they came from and any males you kill the dad. Its a fast way to early sex and pretty much 100 fail safe and doesnt stress the original plant.

Plants are simple. If the plants get 12 hours or more of darkness, they will flower; otherwise if the plants get less than 12 hours of darkness, they will veg.

I know that, what I'm asking is if I initiated flowering on a female for say a month, then changed the photoperiod back to say 18/6 or 24/0 from 12/12, will it revert back to vegetative growth or will it keep flowering?

It should revert back. You are mother nature now!

What will happen is the plant will just stop growing..& stay that way for months..basically it ruins your plant..!
