Flowering Temps and Humidity.

I've been looking through all the forums and can't find an answer. Does anyboby know the ideal temp and humidity range for flowering? I'm around 75 and 40% with the lights on with a rez temp about the same as the room temp. Thanks!

With all due respect I beg to differ 75F is too hot for the reservoir I put a maximum temp for the res at 70F, I consider 76F for the room without C02 a maximum temperature also. 72F for the room is a great temperature without C02 and even a drop to just 65F at night in the room will have your rez < 70F without a chiller, that is ideal for you imo. I run 50% RH in veg and 60% in flower without C02 but I am pushing the envelope watching for mold and shiz

Thanks for the comments! I'm really happy with the room temp and I've noticed my girls have been taking in a lot of water. Had to top off my rez with 8 gallons just 5 days after my rez change. My humidity is going higher than 40% The high was more like 80%. Thinking about running a dehumidifier when the lights are off. As for the rez, I put an ice pack in there when the lights turned on. It kept the rez temp around 72. I'm hopeing with the room temp lower, with the lights on for only 12, it'll keep the rez temp lower.

I agree with above. Rez temps are a bit to high. Grab some of those refreezable ice packs that go in the fridge and throw em in your rez an hour before feedings. Keep rez at 65 or so. Try your hardest to never let the rez go above 70 deg. Romm temps at 75-85 with co2 or 73-80 with no co2. Humidity is good right where its at. Keep it and your see a good harvest.

Sorry. I didnt mean to requote the ice pack thing. Your idea first.Do you have a good lid on rez? This is y I like drain to waste.

I have an Aeroflo and the rez being under the lights is the only negative I have for the whole system. You guys don't even wanna know what my rez temps were for veg! lol

My rez temp got up to 82 last night and that was only a hour after the lights turned on! I quick ran and got a 10lbs bag of ice and put it in a trash bag then threw it in my rez, that brought it down to 73 but the ice melted almost right away. So after that I took apart my dehumidifier and ran the coil into my rez, plugged it in and dropped my rez temp to 65! I let it run all night thinking that it couldn't get much colder than that, and in the morning with the lights running all night my rez was 55 so I turned it off. Gonna put it on some sort of timmer on it but it worked great! Just was wondering what the lowest my water temp should be? Those "fall" nights can get pretty cold but I'm guessing no less than 60???

The ideal temperature for the light hours is 68 to 78 degrees fahrenheit and for the dark hours there should be about a 15 degree drop in temperature. The growing room should be relatively dry if possible. What you want is a resinous coating on the leaves and to get the plant to do this, you must convince it that it needs the resinous coating on its leaves to protect itself from drying out. In an extremely humid room, the plants develop wide leaves and do not produce as much resin. You must take care not to let the temperature in a dry room become too hot, however, since the plant cannot assimilate water fast enough through its roots and its foliage will begin to brown out.
