flowering stage

whats are cheeap lights that i can use for flowering, i dont care about a huge yield but i want good potency, can someone plz help

cheapest are cfls, but w/o more info its impossible to tell you how many and such.....how big is the space? how big do u want your plant? do u plan on doing a scrog or lst? do u have good ventillation? are u growing in soil? etc, etc,

my space is in a fish tank that is 2.5ft long 1.5ft tall and 1ft wide, the plants are growing out of the tank which is ok with me and they have 3ft of space ahead so im not trying to grow them tall, they are 3 days into flowering still no signs of which are male or female yet but im sure im gonna be killing some when i find out which are males to take out, i have 8 plants and its in soil and i have a fan and a closet door opening for ventalation, right now i have 1 70 watt plant florecent tube and 2 65watt plant lights, i dont want them tall, what do u suggest and how much potential yield or potency will i have, i dont care to much about a huge yeild just potency. i have a red reptile light by the way but not using it, cuz i dont know if i should

ur gonna need alot of em to get a decent harvest.....at least 400 watts of 2700k cfls. i woulda put em in flower already if i was u cuz if they are a foot and a half tall now they will be 3-4 feet tall at finish. flowering plants double to triple in size by the end of flowering

yea but how potent would they b using what i have now, and what if i used the reptile lamp? my money is tight so how many cfls would i need i only have 2 ballaicstis i can use i hoave no were else to put more bulbs

its gonna be shitty if u try to use the setup ya got plus it will take forever to bud and finish, especially since u have more than one plant. get y splitters and the largest self ballested cfls u can find/afford

im bout to go to walmart now, o just hope i cant find something

you should be able to. i think 42w cfls are like only $8 at walmart

yeah, for now it will ok but id keep adding lights whenever u can. i get 3-4 new 42w every paycheck (every 2 weeks) or something else i want/need. i spend about 70 on upgrading my set up. its getting kinda crowded though in my grow dresser, have 15 40w 3000k cfls at the moment in my flower area and 4 42w 6500k in the veg area. im quite happy with the setup so far but i think im gonna get a dual ballast(both hps and mh) next time

what can i get for yield and potency with the lighting i have now

it depends on alot of different factors, genetics/nutes/stress are a few variables that will effect it. maybe a oz each at max
