Flowering question

Does it matter how big the plant is for it to start flowering? I know it starts flowering when it recieves more dark time, so if i only kept my plant outside for 12 hours and put it inside for 12 in the dark, would it start flowering even though its only a foot or so tall?

if you give it 12 light 12 dark it will start to flower and 1 foot is good. it will probably double or triple in size(depending on genetics). good luck!!

I've planted seeds in early July and they were ready to harvest in early October, so you'll be fine good luck!

Done this for as long as I can remember, the plants are smaller but they've finished around the same time as the plants I put out in May and I live in the north.

True . Without out a doubt. They will always finish the same time as with the same strain (flowering times) and hours of light in a day at a smaller size. Doesn't matter when you stick them out or plant a seed they are gonna flower when mother nature tells them to ?
I'm not knocking your method, just saying putting a seed literally unsprouted in the ground the first of July is cutting it awfullly close or small. I'm trying to say dependent on strain, weather, and luck you (generally speaking) can cut yourself short.

To your point as it is a good one. I have two plants that could be 8-10 ft tall if they weren't LST'd,kept them at 5 ft, and I have two other ones that were clones too that went out on the 4th of july 8" big that I really didn't care about what they did and are almost 5ft tall. Almost bigger than what I really wanted them to get. We have two more That Came out of a revegg around The first of July that are 3ft. These are my favorite plants and the perfect size if you ask me if you could have enough of them. Tying over the big ones for height reasons has been some work.

Just trying to strike a conversation was all. must be the full moon. wveryone seems kinda edgey tonight. Probably gotta burn one.:peace:

Heres a close up of the smallest ones.
