My 2 females have been flowering for almost 6 weeks now. I selected them out of a bag of some random seeds a friend gave me. and I cant visually tell when i look at them, how close to harvest i am. I dont know anything about the strain, does anyone have any advice on things i can look for. or maybe direct me to pics/info that could help me.

yeap.. check out the stickys.. you need to buy a 30X-100X magnifying glass (with light) at radio shack for $15.. then you can observe the color of the trichomes (really the only factor you want to be concerned with in deciding when to harvest); for normal high - mix of uplifting with a little bit of cool chill (down), shoot for 60% trichomes cloudy - 30% clear and about 10% reddish/brown. In general though, you probably have another 2 weeks to go until harvest - be patient, you will get better bud - remember to flush in the last week! Good luck!

Whoops, sorry for the late reply.. didnt show in my reply list... 'flushing' is as simple as just flooding the root zone with pure water (no nutrients) for a period of time. This time being the amount of time it takes for the plant to completely work its way through all of its existing nutrients in its root zone, leaves and other parts. A 2 foot tall plant (medium fullness - whatever that means) usually takes about a week or 7-10 days for the fresh water to completely migrate to the top of the plant which is why everyone always says to flush for the last week before actually cutting down the plant (so that you are not smoking nutrients and other chemicals).. for hydro setups just change the reservoir with pure/fresh water and for soil grows, just completely saturate/flood the soil with fresh water one or two times during that final week.. cheers
