Got some landrace sativa's that are not going into flowering yet. Got a couple of mother plants and a bunch of clones. The two mother's are Drakensburg and the other is a Mulane. The mother plants are planted in the ground and are both 13-15 foot tall right now and are on a growth spurt. The mulane is slightly bigger being about a foot taller and 2 foot wider. It is about 10 ft wide. Its base stalk is as big as a coke can and its branches are thick as a thumb. The Drake is almost as big in itself. I planted these two together in a location with some others. i thought I had plenty of room for em as I planted them several feet apart but clearly they needed much much much more lol.
I have many more varieties and they are all in flower save for these landrace varieties. The clones I put out around 4 weeks ago are already 6ft tall from a 5" plant.
I have not been giving any of the clones yet any nutes the big plants I lightly fed them when their leaves started yellowing twice this year. Yes I only fed them twice with very mild nutes. I even topped them all to try and stop the growth about a month back and it worked for a couple of weeks. lol
I also have others that are too big as well like c99's, Holy Grail 69, critical mass, Iranian auto flower, wonder woman, violator kush and among others.
My clones off the others are about where I need them around 3-4 foot tall and flowering at the moment but the landrace stuff is just not showing nothing at all.
I'm almost to the point of going to chop them down because I'm afraid they are going to draw attention because of how huge they are. If they do go into flower it is going to be bitten by frost which usually arrives in late Oct but sometimes earlier and sometimes later.
What do you guys think? Chop em? Right now I have a wall of sativa that is 15 ft tall and 15 foot wide. Its huge and I'm freaking. I live out in the country but their is an opening in the woods where the farmers will see them when shelling the corn in the field right next to the woods. That will happen in about a month.
