Flowering- Leaves pointing up- Pineapple chunk

About 3 weeks since switch (1.5-2 weeks since sex shown). One of my Pineapple chunks is starting to point its leaves up to the sky- its only happening on one plant and i have already given them all some Epsom salts during the last 2 waterings. pH (runoff ) is 6.8 and fed 3mls of biobizz 'bloom' and 1 ml 'grow' plus a tbs of molasses. Temp is 65.
Out of all the plants this one seems most advanced in budding stage- so is that the reason the others arent doing it?

Any ideas?

In my experiance, the plants the have their leaves pointed up in flowering are the healthiest. They are soaking in the light and reaching for more.

that pineapple chunk from barneys farm? im orderin that strain next time i hit up attitude...but if i remember correctly when they point up like that they are concerving water...and you say its growin fastest? she is prolly thirsty...
EDIT: im sorry im really high...but i cant remember is the leaves pointing up is from lack of water, or lack of humidity...either way im sure some other growers with help figure this out!

Yep its Barneys- got 2 of them growing atm- i water regularly and let it dry out between waterings- the other one is fine but slightly behind this one at the budding stage - Also got 2 LSD's from barneys, a Euforia from DP and WW from nirvana- none of these are pointing up- and get he same treatment so its a little baffling- humidity is at 56%- i've got a journal going if you want to see how they are doing- they do stretch alot but i used LST to try and keep em in check- seems the LSD are stretchy too- oh and they stink to high heaven lol :D

Im hoping Dank is right on this one.

from my understanding is when they are pointing up they are reaching for light, either the lights are to far for it, stretching can be caused by this as well, and as another poster posted it could be they are trying to conserve water as well.

Light distance is not excessive- i have it on the outskirts of the box- just like the other pc (thats not doing it)- i've moved it to prime spot last night to see if it will make a difference- im not sure it will, but will check when the lights come back on later .

Both LSD and PC are apparently indica 'dominant' however on other peoples grows mine included the leaf shape of both is leaning to sativa, and all accounts have stated that they seem to stretch no matter what. The lights are 600w situated 15-18 inches above canopy. From the graphs i have read thats way within the limits of acceptable and should be giving 16-18k of lumens at that distance with no risk of burning. I have a short growing Euforia that is as bushy as hell and would say is a true Indica in its traits thats not stretching- so whats to be made of that? Doesnt make complete sense why one plant is acting this way out of 6.

Just checked on the plant as i moved it right into prime place directly under light last night- no change in the leaves pointing up- if light was the issue surely moving it into best spot should have made a difference by now, no?

I thought leaves pointing up was a nute issue, I have plants doing that right now, but only 3 or 4 of them...and it only happens after I feed or water them. If it were a light/stretching issue, wouldn't all of the plants be doing it, or only the shortest? I have a plant 2ft shorter than the rest, but it's leaves aren't pointing up like some of the taller ones.

Leaves pointed up can be alot of shit. Heat, Water Conservation, reaching for light, Maybe it is a middle eastern strain and it is prayer time. I dont know but I know I would rather see my girls reaching nice and rigid than drooping limp. Dont worry about it.

im over it- i mean they are still doing it- or should i say staying like it - but imnot bothered- tbh they look healthy, they are green, they are fed 'correct ' nutes left to dry out between- light is at right height and its not hot /under or over humid-its progressing into being the frostiest plant - so nah im not stressing. In fact asking about it about a minor issue creates other issues lol - in that theres no definitive answer :P

Same thing for me, but it starts a couple of hours after i watered it, i let my dry out after each watering to, 6L of soil and water almost 1L every 3-4 day now when in flowering, but as you say, my to look very healthy, i have 1 ICE.

I grow hydro PC, but my understanding of soil is that it isn't good to let the soil dry out, creates problems with how the soil dries and makes tunnels that end up funneling away nutes & water, which could be a part of your leaf mystery. Uncle Ben is a very knowledgable grower, you should check out his numerous threads.
