Flowering in 24/0

This is my first grow and I am new here so bare with me please. I have a 36x20x62 grow tent with an unknown plant (I'm assuming its Alien OG since that was the strain I got majority of the seeds I had from) that is a little over 3 months old and a feminized purple kush plant that is almost 2 months old. Both are in their 3rd week of flower. The purple kush plant has hermied, presumably because of the ridiculous heat in my house (usually stays around 84F in the grown tent, I do what I can to lower it though). Anyway. I was wondering if it would be possible to put the hermied plant under a 24/0 LED light, along with my other two vegitating plants, outside of the grow tent so that it can continue to flower without pollinating the other unknown plant? Thanks in advance.

It will reveg if you put it under 24 hours of light.

I don't know if it's a good idea to start revegging this plant. Because re-vegging doesn't automatically take "the reason to go hermie" away. Re-vegging is actually know to exacerbate said behaviour. And you've got no guarantee that it's been really the 84F temps which caused it. It's just 3-4°C away from the indoor "optimum" and cannabis is generally more tolerant to heat than cold.

Remove all male parts immediately once the light goes on again and check in on it daily. You don't wanna ruin your harvest with a budload of seeds so if the Kush doesn't stop throw it away.

Thing is, you've still got, at least, 5 weeks to go. During that time your other plants can absorb lots of light and still grow into empty spaces.

I use a very sharp exacto knife to cut any pollen sacs or bananas away. You have to be very careful not to let the sacs rupture. Your grow space is so small that you could easily contaminate it with male pollen. I would axe that Hermie and wipe down your tent.

On another note. Be careful about using seeds from the flower you smoke. If a flower has seeds in it, there's a high possibility that the plant it came from was a Hermie. That seed has a higher probability of herming as well because the genetic profile has been reinforced. Sorta like how inbreeding can exacerbate bad genes.

Good luck!

what about

cookies
or
chemdawg
or
all OGs
or
should I go on.
All "hermie" bagseed to start.

They are NOT more prone to genetically being reversed. How do you know that? You can't possibly without DNA analysis, which doesn't even exist yet....
Not trying to be rude, just think you should stop parroting "what someone told you" and actually read up, hell just read up on a Punnet Square and gynoecious tendencies in plants or better yet, what is actually happening gynoecious rodelization. I bet you change your tune :peace:
