Flowering help!?

I've never done an indoor grow before.
My little ladies are 5 weeks old tomorrow
All about a foot in heigth and the strongest has a nice set of inner leaves on each node.
Should i flower?
My lights are 4 26w CFL's. hanging directly above the four ladies(about 4 inches above)
I'm not really sure of the K though, they seem like a nice warm light, very similar to daylight i would say.
Anyway, Should i modify the lighting for flowering?
Help please!

bring the lights closer to like 1 or 2 inches away, those few inches matter quite a bit with cfls, they quickly lose effectiveness if its too far away, what are your plans lightwise for flowering?. i think those are blue spectrums you got there, otherwise the bulbs would look more red colored than they do.

yo man, get some y splitters and some more bulbs, the majority of the light a cfl puts out is from the sides, your wasting ALOT of light the way your doing it now, probally almost all of it.

Oh shit. I didn't even know that o_O
And okay. idk i looked the lights up online and it said that the daylight ones are a 5500k.

I'm pretty sure that those are the daylight bulbs, i think my camera just distorted that.
But anyway would the y splitters keep them above the plants?
I'm kinda confused about the whole thing.

Oh okay. Sounds like a good idea. I'll take care of that in the morning.
And I'm intending on going totally orgranic with this grow, mainly cause i'm extremely limited on money.
Would you say that's a HORRIBLE idea?
i dunno

I want to make sure i have the right lights for my successful harvest.
These seeds were few and far between on a qp of some dank ass bud.

Bought the only 2 y adapters they had in stock
found out my lights ARE 2700k
So i decided flowering is starting now.
I added 2 more lights, i'm buying more tonight at menards, they have the y adapters too.
Here's the pics So far.

WOah okay.
Totally remove the 5500ks when flowering?
not if you can keep them in. I like a mixed spectrum myself, those plants could probally use some side lighting too, they are kinda stretched. I think your gonna do alright this grow, but next one will be alot better, so dont let yourself get discouraged by the results you get this time cuz next one will be alot better,

Well it is what it is, I'm ordering good seeds and doing an hps next grow i believe.
Atleast i plan to flower with HPS, most likely using the cfl's to veg.
Learning experience though

yep, learning is your biggest gain first grow, usually, lol, sometimes you'll see first timers pull out lots of huge nugs but those are usually guys who just directly copy someones setup. I was not one of those people either lol. the hps sounds excellent, I think your gonna do really good in a grow or 2. Keep up the good work my friend.
