Flowering help ?

OK well if i planted my plants from seed how long until i can start to flower the fastest my plants are about 6 days old and they seem to be doing fine one of them is about 1 inch tall and the other is 2 also is that normal for how old they are...also when i get an exact date on when to flower what nuts,ferts do i use and i want to flower with CFL's so how many would i need and how many watts

um its guna be a lil while b4 flower, but if you inside you can start flowerin when ever. jus veg to ur desired size an switch ur light cycle to 12 on an 12 off. how many cfls do you have now?

U can start flowering now if you want but you will get very little bud. Usually it will take 3 months from seed to harvest. Thats 1 month in vegging and 2 months flowering. Usually at 1ft tall, put it into flower and it will stretch to around 3ft

well my plants are only like 6 days old and im using a 100w UV and a 7w 2700k CFL for veg I think its a lil early to flower and i want atleast a good quantity of bud

uv um idk about that does that even give off the spectrum?jus currious never heard of uv lights. i wuld deffinatly get more cfls thats wat i use

your lights aren't adequate. you should step them up so your plants don't stretch out really bad. the UV light is really hot too right? what's the lumen output on that thing? i bet it's comparable to incandescant, but what do i know. u should get a bunch of 23w CFL's (in the 6000k spectrum area), like 10 or something. they come in value-packs in super markets. install them into some clamp on shop lights, $8 at Wal Mart, or something like that and use some mylar (holiday gift wrapping paper) to create some sort of light fixture to hover above and hopefully around, if you're doing CFL's, your plants. you could really step it up and go HID lighting but it's expensiver.

just sterilize ur area and water slowly. they'll grow.

ok so your sayin the UV light i have wont do anything for me but stretch the plant and i only have 1 7w 2700k cfl so is that any good for veg or do i need to change and yes the uv gets fairly hot but only if your really close to it

i honestly can say the lowest watts ive vegged with was 1 26watt cfl it grew pretty slow but it grew. i guess you could veg with wat u got i dont see y not but quanity an quality of your bud will suffer

Hmmm ok, well besides CFL's, HID's, HPS, MH, and floro tubes is there any other lights that could be used and also if i change the lights in about a week will it still affect the quantaty and quality of my bud

So is the 100w UV light bad for the plant to veg and the 7w 2700k isnt strong enough I mean plants look good a lil bit tall for such short amount of days im measuring it right now plant #1 is an inch and a half and plant #2 is 2 inches so is that normal for 6 days from seed

hahahahaha yes it kinda does look like its streching them but hey if all goes well and as soon as i find out what both plants are M/F if female as soon as i get some buds i will keep you posted and let you know how that worked also what nuts,ferts should i use when starting to flower i think im going to start making it flower here in like 12 more days what do you think i just want to see how my first try goes :)

hell yea thats how to learn watch with your own eyes, keep use posted an try an get some pics i wanna see how this 1 goes. as for nutes idk ive tryed mirical grow plant foodd (fit my budget) during veg but kinda over did it an burnt em so ive kinda been stayin away from the fert. but do some research an try an get some good shit like fox farm or something of that nature

i do have acouple of pics posted somewhere in a post i made about 2 days ago ill try and look for it and give you the link hopefuly all goes well for me :) i think im doing alright i didnt have to buy anything i used soil from my backyard and lamps i already had in my home and im using rain water and a lil bit of tap water and i do take them out sometimes to get some sunlight only when theres good sun though
