THanks for all the input i'll take it into account. The wire seems best granted i'm running a hydro system and there isn't soil to hoist it down into. I have very little intention of stressing the plant, i've been pruning dead/dying leaves though (bottom 1/4 of plants) that's a bit of a different story.
