hey guys
so my plants are now about four weeks old from the seed and theyre growing pretty healthy but since my last one turned out to be male i was wondering if its wise to flower thesr ones early?
and is that true that seeds taken outta buds are more likely to be females or no there still is the 50 50 chance of being male/female
there is no seed suppliers around here tho so the seeds taken outta weed nugs are the best i can do

They will flower when their mature and not before. You can flip to 12/12 now but if it's early you will only hurt yield. If you're in a hurry then yeah go ahead and flip. If you want to determine sex take a cutting and sex it while the rest of the plant finishes maturing.

And I think seeds only come from bud or calyxes so I think you have to use seed from bud lol. ( Bag seed is fine I'm just messing with you ). If you know the strain it will be helpful, but if you don't by the time you've run it a few times you'll know what to expect. I run some bag seed and it is a nice sativa ( land race I believe ) it takes 12 weeks, I have some store bought seed it takes 8 weeks. The clones only take 6 weeks. So you might want to take some clones and sex them and then flower them too .

no seed suppliers around here either. I found some great ones online though.
a seed will flower at any age you like. allowing it to get at least 10 inches tall or so would be best.
dr greenthumbs website describes expected yields according to flowering heights and I find them accurate mostly.
If you let them preflower you are rewarded with a better experience. Bigger plants have bigger needs though
