Flowering cycle

This is my first grow and im growing Northern Light X Skunk and the flowering is 55 to 65 days, is that the time you change the lights to 12/12 and is this how long it will take for the flowers/buds will take to mature. If so when should I change the light over from the veg stage of 18/6 so I can maxximise my yeald. They have been under the light for 55 days now. Im just not sure what to do! There about 14 inches high now.

Is that not an autoflower strain still? If it is there is no need to alter your light cycle.

Hiya mate, don't know why the last idiot didn't help..
You change to 12/12 when you want. When the plant is around half the height that you can grow it in the space you have, I do 28 days veg.
The 55/65 days is the time it will take to finish after 12/12 has started.
If you have plenty of room you could veg longer. Just remember if you have little space change to 12/12 when they get half the size you can grow them..

With long light schedules NL can finish in 6 weeks. The asshead saying 55 days from when it starts is just that - an asshead. Do what he says and wait longer with less yield.

im not tryna get in on the pissing match but hes already went 55 days n 6 weeks is only about 2 weeks shy of 55 days the problem isnt being addressed since the OP is growing an autoflower n not having buds at least start to form yet he doesnt kno what road to take......

im pretty sure ur growing under daylight bulbs, switch to warm-light bulbs n go 12/12 n she should kick into flowering

Thanks. I'm not into guessing but yours sounds about right considering . . . .. Or he doesn't really have a good NL X Skunk seed strain. Many autoflower hybrid crosses end up going well over 70 days if the strain is not really multi-generation stable.

Hi Im growing in a large grow box with heeps of room because its my first run at this ive started out with only three plants. Im growing under a 400watt led light. I started from seed and they are Northern light x skunk feminised and Im pritty sure they arnt auto flowering.

yea my next guess was he had bad seeds.....im still a newb, but i research everything i do so far in depth that i can guide myseld in the right direction....i was looking at autofowers on my next grow/ think ill jus grow femenized seeds

Maybe not "bad" seeds but some that are more regular Skunk in traits. Grow time, light needs.

This is confusing they arnt auto flowering all I was asking was when I should switch from veg to flowering if flowering is from 55 to 60days. The plants are northern lights X skunk #1 feminised. They are very healthy grown under led. I think I just try what I think.

If the flowering time is from 55 to 60 days. it means 55 to 60 days once you switch to 12/12. You can veg for as long or as short as you want, it's up to you to decide how tall you want it.

You have been vegging for 8 weeks and have a plant 14 inches? Either you are growing in a tea cup or found a one watt bulb.
If you are concerned about yield you are going to be disappointed my friend. toss that runt and start fresh.
