typically they double in size max it triples so not that big at all try topping fimming and lst if you want a small plant that yields

im gonan attempt lst at 4 inches. So my plant would land at "ABOUT" 8-12 inches sounds pretty reasonable. How much would you expect to yeild? or is it to hard to really determine an amount?

uhh well it depends on so many different things, but i would say anywhere between a few grams and maybe a quarter ounce? quarter ounce being a great yield for a small plant like that, which will probably give you little popcorn nuggs.

you are going to flower huh

the plant probably won't flower until its ten inches, regardless of what you do. (assuming its from seed)

it will probably be 20-30 inches at the shortest, unless you stunt it further

i flowered out my northern lights from seed at 5 inches
and northern lights is one of the squatter strains
it finished out at 29 inches, unless it's one of the auto flower strains, it's going to stretch a good bit

if its got some rudey in it it might mature fully and only be 18" but I don't think you'll find many seed plants mature much shorter than that.

using lst on a 4" plant is 1 of the silliest things ive read on here lol ,what a waste of time!! the whole point of lst , is to get light to the lower growth areas, at 4 inches thats all you have lower growth areas????? i suggest you get yourself some low ryder seeds and topp them, i have never been a fan of trying to flower unmatture plants , you learn nothing about the strain your trying to grow, or about the true end product , plus you also run the risk of over stressing and causing hermies to appear in your grow. i dont wish to insult only to advise on what i have experienced myself , good luck =)

I take no offense wat so ever i know your trying to help. I have decided to wait till the plant is bigger. This is a test grow to see if i can growa plant start to finish in a box about 2 feet high, 2 feet wide and 3 feet long. I normally grow outdoors when i can but i guess those rules apply to indoor growing also. Lst is off until it gets to about foot or 15 inches.

i have, or should i say "had", a 4" inch clone and flowered it just to see if what i read about clones was true, about the roots and all... well its in its 7th week of flowering and its now at 8". the whole main stem is covered from top to bottom, however its too leafy to say where exactly the nugs are besides at the top, its very crowded. the hairs, or pistils i should say, are turning brown, and the nugs are like little popcorn balls. im hoping for that boost in the final stages of maturity to make the nugs a bit bigger.

not too sure if i covered what you wanted, but just telling you that it could be done.

don't know if the OP found this useful, but i sure did
growing a clone whose mother stretched from 5 inches to 29 inches during flower
been posting threads trying to get this info, +rep for posting this
what strain was that, if you know?

Well if it doubles in size... 8 inches... triples in size... 12 inches... You could get a good plant, but the buds wouldn't yield to much...

definetely go for 6-8 nodes and closer to 12 inches taller before flowering...
