Well I initially planned to visit just 3-4 times during the season but that didn't work. and really the best cover I found was not remoteness and hard to get to places because they were so far away but places that I knew intimately and knew people didn't visit. I have special circumstances in that I live in a farming community and we have some land and there is just empty land around us, so I know where people go and don't go, I know there are not fishers, hunters, hikers, back woods drinkers ect.. I started mine inside. At one time i had 108 plants about 1' tall underneath my bed that I rebuilt to have lots of romm underneath but not look any different. Then I tranplanted them from special deep grow trays to pots and moved them to the grow site. They stayed in the pots a few weeks and I had some late freezes so I had to make a temporary green house and kept them in there for as long as possible, because they grew great. I'm in such a dry climate in the southwest that I think greenhouses make a big difference. While they were in pots, I had to hand water over a hundred plants every 2-3 days. It took about 15-20 gallons so I would make 2 trips from the water source each with 2 5 gallon buckets. That was alot of work so I was anxious to get the in the ground asap so I wouldn't have to water. So I dug a shit load of holes and removed a crap load of rocks and just put some time realease miracle grow in the holes with the plants and they are still there. one main site with about 3 sites right next to the main site (i was scrambling for room) anyway they are on a south facing hill side out of the wind but still in the sun and when a certain farmer irrigates his fields the water runs off and waters the plants too. I had too look a long time for this set up but with as many plants as I have, watering by hand was not an option especially considering I was out of town most of the summer. but hey I visited a week ago and I have 7+ footers. and this is my first grow so I'm happy. the plants are not to far from my residence but they are not to far from anyones residence, it's a rural area, the differnce is that I grew up there and know that human trafic is not an issue. It's all about the grow site.
