hey so i took 4 cutting off my plant right when they were about to become buds u know when the leafs shoot over the leaves without making stems with a few white hairs....so basically i dont have any growing medium i just dipped them in perlite and peat moss mix will they make roots? if so how long? thx

oh also i did that thing were you cut half of each blade on each leave off were they look like thumbs yea and i did that 30 degree agle cut on em

did you put any rooting hormone on them? They need to stay in a very humid environment, and keep contact with a moist medium on the cut area...

Generally clones will take 7-14 days to grow roots when using rooting hormone. It is not certain they will root w/o the hormone, though it is definitely possible. I suggest foliar spraying the leaves 3+ times a day to keep the clone moist and doing well. It could take 2-3 weeks for them to get roots, if they do.

Yes they will root but you will need to get them under 24 hours of light so they can reveg. they will take a while to resume normal growth and you may see wierd growth for a few weeks, like single leaves. hang in there and she will start growing normally again.
