Having a issue... I've been using tap water to water the crop. Bad choice! My tap has hellllla calcium and its locking out magnesium and phosphorus. This would happen right when I'm about to flower. I feel like I can't flower them tell they get nice and green. Like 3-4 are light green, basically yellow with purple lines in stems. I'm waiting for them to dry out from the last flush so I can re-flush with distilled water.
So BIG question here: Could I get away with flushing each 4 gallon container, with 4-5 gallons of distilled, to wash a lot of the calcium out to resume healthy growth?

lol bro it didnt show til around 6 weeks from germination, so about 2.5 weeks ago. Ive flushed them twice since then. Of course I waited for the soil to dry almost completely out between flushes. So I believe the problem has been suspended through the flushes. What Ive observed is that after the 1st flush the worst yellowing 3 started to look a little greener. However, as the soil dried out the yellowed more and purple lines in the stem in addition to necrotic lower leaves that eventually died back. After the first flush I was pretty confused. Well, I decided to flush yet again. I break out my calibration solution to my pH meter and the little cups that I use. I always rinse these little cups out with tap water. I poured the 4.0 in the cup and I noticed this whitish looking "stuff" floating around. Next, I went to the bathtub to look at the drain, and sure enough, there was alot of caked up calcium around and inside the drain. The next step was to obviously read up on Calcium toxicity. After an hour of reading up on deficiencies of Mg, P, K, S and Ca I connected the dots and boom... Distilled is the answer! What you guys think could I rinse alot of the calcium out of the soil using only 5 gallons of distilled water to flush each 4 gallon container?

Well my people out in Ca got me some green crack elbows;-) and I found 9 seeds throught it all. When i found the first one I emptied everything out on my table and started combing through it section by section:mrgreen: ended up with the 9 grew them all out 5 died in the first 2 weeks due to some horrible dollar store soil my lady picked up for me. I wanted to wait for the hydro store and she wanted me to go ahead and start them lol. The 4 remaining ended up being female. So I started thinking, maybe the green crack is one of those strains that develops male flowers at the end of its life cycle to make sure the strain lives on... Anyhow the bud the seeds came from were bommmb.

Took around 5-6 days for them to completely dry out the last flush. Not completely, but right before they wilt. Its been about 4 days since the flush. So you think 4-5 gallons will be enough to flush out most of the calcium that's built up?

ya and itll keep getting better over time just dont use tht tap water n e more.
Niiiice. Thanks! I topped the plants again last night because I had a feeling it would be another week or so before flowering. With that being said, Im a little nervous because a few of the plants are an inch or two more than 20". T
