@bron-y-aur-stomp ; theres no pros and ton of cons to use malic acid. phosphoric acid can be bought everywhere and its safe to use and thats what professional use, theres reason.

if you really want to save money on acids, buy a reverse osmosis system.

I see it in hardware stores for removing rust but I doubt its the same stuff I use in my system is it?

no. look at plumbing store, thats where i bought mine. a lot cheaper than hydro store. you dont need a fancy system, the one for drinking is fine. make sure you dont buy a dechlorinator

So this Osmosis system it will automatically lower my PH? To any particular level or just drop my water by a lot? And as for Phosphoric acid, pretty cheap and where to find?
