Flipping to flower for the first time!

Hey guys I’m flipping my plants to flower, and this is my first time growing so I’m worried that I’m forgetting something. I changed the timer to a 12/12 cycle, and turned on the bloom switch on my light. Then I started reading that you should wait to turn on the bloom light. So now I don’t know if I should turn it back off or just leave it on. If anyone has any advice please feel free to share! Thank you!

Well I don’t do LED but I have done start to finish with a hps with no issues. Typically the plant will still be in veg mode for a couple weeks after you flip. I switch to bloom light at 12/12, keeping it off bloom might help the stretch? Again, I don’t do leds. As far as 12/12 goes, make sure there are no light leaks, make sure the timer is set correctly, you need consistent on/off cycles. The demand for feed will be higher going in the next few weeks, make sure they plants are healthy before you flip to 12/12. Good luck!
